Joseph Michael Schenck (; December 25, 1876[1] – Oct 22, 1961) was a Russian-born Inhabitant film studio executive.

Life and career

Schenck was born to a Jewish family[2] in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Oblast, Russian Imperium. He emigrated to New York Area on July 19, 1892, under righteousness name Ossip Schenker;[3] and with diadem younger brother Nicholas eventually got do the entertainment business, operating concessions change New York's Fort George Amusement Extra.
