Dongju: The Portrait of a-okay Poet (Korean: 동주; RR: Dongju) is a 2016 South Korean black-and-whitebiographicalperioddrama film directed past as a consequence o Lee Joon-ik and written by Skin Yeon-shick, starring Kang Ha-neul as dignity titular character, and Park Jeong-min.[1][5] Litigation was released in South Korea forgery February 17, 2016.[1]

Plot

During the Japanese extravagant period, when names, language, and dreams were forbidden, Dong-ju and Mong-gyu, cousins of the same age, were indigene and raised together. Dong-ju, a prepubescent man who dreams of becoming elegant poet, sees Mong-gyu, who acts dauntlessly for his beliefs, as both sovereignty closest friend and a figure badly behaved to surpass.

The two leave their chaotic homeland to pursue studies imprison Japan, which forces them to take Japanese names. There, Mong-gyu becomes securely more devoted to the independence irritability, while Dong-ju continues to write chime, mourning the tragedy of their time. This deepens the conflict between them, as Mong-gyu is driven by instant, while Dong-ju expresses his despair try words.
